How to Get Viewers for your YouTube Marketing Campaign

Millions of people are watching videos on YouTube every day, which is why YouTube marketing campaigns are being blossoming all over the place.  Basically, if you don’t have a YouTube marketing campaign and you are a business owner, then you might be missing out on a big business opportunity.

But having a YouTube marketing campaign that no one’s viewing isn’t going to be helping you a whole lot either.  This article will not so much focus on how to get people to click on the link (such as posting the YouTube marketing video on Facebook in hopes of someone viewing the link), but it will focus on how to make a YouTube marketing video that people will actually want to watch.

The first tip is not so much about you creating your own YouTube marketing videos, but rather beefing up your YouTube marketing page with other people’s content.  You can easily “curate content” from any other channel on YouTube without having to upload a single video yourself.  By using a keyword search, you can locate videos by category, duration, features, and can then create a “favourite” list or a “playlist”.  You can then embed this list in your blog or your website.  When ever you add a video to this list, then the video is automatically updated on your blog or website. To obtain the code, all you have to do is open up your playlist and then select “edit” under My Playlist.  Click on the “share” tab and the embed code will be displayed.

You should also have original content, of course, if you want your YouTube marketing campaign to have any lasting impact.  All you need is a mobile phone or a basic digi-cam and you’re set.  Some original content you may want to consider including is:

-    Repurposing the content that you already have available.  With some basic movie software, you can create content out of still photos you may have.  Add some music in the video, maybe throw in a voiceover, and voila.  New content for your channel!
-    How-to videos.  This is the last and best idea for you to enlarge your YouTube marketing campaign.  If you want any tips or ideas on how to create a how-to video, you can visit howcast.com for some ideas on the type of content you should include.

Your YouTube marketing campaign doesn’t have to be Oscar-worthy.  Have fun with it and keep posting regularly.  Keeping up regular, friendly communication with your viewers will help build up a large and valuable customer base for you business.
